Ek Tha Tiger

Ek Tha Tiger'  is an upcoming Bollywood romantic thriller film starring  " Salman Khan " and " Katrina Kaif " . It's given by now that this film is one of the most eagerly waiting for this film.

It is obvious that the first teaser of the movie managed to create quite a stir when it got released.  In fact, ‘stir’ has to be quite an understated term used here. Such amount of traffic that the trailer managed to cause on the video sharing site Youtube

that it almost crashed the hosting server of  Yeashraj productions.

This film marks the 3rd collaboration of Kabir Khan with Yashraj Films. Though originally scheduled to release on 1st June, 2012 but the film was shifted to August per request from Amir Khan for releasing his film Talaash on 1st June.

When the pre-production started the film was initially offerd to Shahrukh Khan but for he was unable to go ahead with the dates he had to be replaced by Salman Khan.

" Ek Tha Tiger " is the first project for Salman Khan with Yashraj Films. It has been reported that the salary for Salman for this film is about 32 crores indian rupies. Director Kabir Khan teamd up with Katrina Kaif and Aseem Mishra for the second time after " New York " . Ranvir Shorey was signed this film for a supporting role.

Filming

Shooting locations for the film " Ek Tha Tiger " included 10 countries, Ireland, Turkey, Cuba, Iraq and India. A scheduled planed in Hong Kong was delayed due to script issues and Aditya Chopra's involvement in another project. The stunt directors of The Bourne Identity were contracted for the sequences of " Ek Tha Tiger " . Katrina Kaif performed her own stunt in this film.

Soundtrack

Pritam was singed as the composer of this film. I However, he opted out of the film later due to date clashes with yet an other Yash Raj projects, Dhoom 3. Chopra, being impressed by composer Sohail Sen's work in their recently-released film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, roped him in to compose for the film. The lyrics will be penned by Neelesh Misra. A song titled Jaaniyan which had vocals by Asif Nawaz, a Pakistani artist was reported to have been leaked from the film's soundtrack. However, YRF officials denied the news, saying that the album was not in any danger of being leaked.
